At
Retro Antiques we just source those original, and highly collectable
vintage vending machines from the 1930s through to the 1960s.
Whether
you are a serious collector, or just someone who thinks the old
machines are “neat” and wouldn’t mind owning
one, we can offer you the right advice to assist you in choosing
one of these classic machines for your home or office.
Keep
in mind, there isn’t a “right or wrong” in preferring
one type of machine over another. Some of our customers just like
Coke coolers, others prefer Pepsi - and you will either be seduced
by the styling of the earlier “rounded corner” machines,
or the later model “square top” coolers from the 1960s.
Please
note: All of our machines get ICE COLD and can be loaded
with either soft drink or beer… Or both!
An
investment that will give you endless pleasure…

1948-1951 “VMC 27” Coke Machine
This original VMC 27 Coke Machine was produced between the years 1948-1951 by Coca-Cola.
These fridges were extremely popular after the war years in the Mom
and Pop stores throughout America for supplying cold drinks, as the
“spaceship” design attracted customers like wildfire.
However, as the competition increased between the rival soft drink manufacturers, Coke focused production more toward the higher
capacity, larger upright machines, the goal being to sell more drinks,
and subsequently the VMC 27 had a rather short lifespan…
This machine is in original condition.
